Sanctuary: My Workspace

Thought you'd like so see my own little corner of the world. The one fixed point in an ever changing (not always in a good way) world. My version of wonderland with me, not so much as an Alice, but as The Mad Hatter.

This is Ramona Quimby who watches over everything from her perch on a shelf in the kitchen. Sitting next to a cookie jar, of course.

The bulletin board where I put bits and pieces of things that interest me. You never know what might spark an idea.

  5. Ditto the eclectic mix! It's like a toy store, a collectibles store and an art gallery rolled into one.

How nice to wake up to that every morning.

A Ramona doll? Is that of Beezus and Ramona and Ramona and Rigsby?

I loved that series, those books. Feel tempted to read them right now.

  6. Coffee and a Book Chick: Thanks, glad you like it.

Miss Lemon: Yes, I try to make my space as intersting (to me) as I can. I am a collector as you can see.

Pat: Thanks, Pat, I do like having lots of stuff around me. I'm like nature, I abhor a vacuum. Ha!

Sue H: Yes, I'm nothing if not eclectic, Sue. ;)

  7. Kathy: Yes, THAT Ramona. I bought that many years ago in a Barnes and Noble store. It was the only one left and it was a bit beat up, but I was instantly smitten. :)

Toy store, collectibles store and art gallery: exactly the look I like.

  10. Definitely a museum! Maybe it would rate as a historic landmark, perhaps an antique toy museum.

This will certainly entertain your grandchild. She'll think it's a toy museum.

  11. Yes, I can't wait until she's old enough to explore my stuff with me. :)

Very few antiques unfortunately, mostly just stuff I like that has some meaning for me alone.
