If You Need A Laugh at the Expense of a Dog Today...

Here it is. By cartoonist George Booth, of course. I love his dogs and cats and his old ladies. Also love his oh so weird sense of humor. George is my kind of guy.

  2. The guitar string broke and made a loud ping!!. The little dog registered his surprise in the way that only a dog can. At least, a dog by Booth. :)

  3. I love it and always get a chuckle from Booth. The cartoon I have on my fridge is by Larson. It's of a dachshund that's pulled a chair over to the counter to make a cup of coffee from an espresso machine. The caption says, "Nervous little dogs begin their day."

  4. Ha! Love it.

I have one by S. Gross that shows two women having coffee in an alcove as a small dog (looks sort of Scottie like) enters from the front door carrying a brief case.

One woman says to the other, "He's a working dog. But I don't know what he does."

It's been on my refrigerator for years. I just love it.

I've been a big fan of George Booth for a long time. He can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned. He is just wicked. :)

  7. Yvonne: Me too. I always seem to need a good laugh. Ha!

It was bitter cold yesterday and I had no heat for several hours. The landlord was in and out trying to get the boiler going. Finally, he did.

    THank goodness!!
