Today the Jets decide their own destiny when they go up against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Conference Championship game - the game that decides which of them gets to go to the Super Bowl. The pressure's on. Ha!

Why this picture of Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez en dishabille? Well, just because... I mean, a work of art is a work of art. No?
I very much like this essay comparing the Jets' bombastic coach, Rex Ryan to Shakespeare's Falstaff. For other equally intriguing literary insights I like to go to Robin Bates fabulous website, BETTER LIVING THROUGH BEOWULF. (Isn't that a GREAT blog title?) He loves literature and sports. I love reading his observations. (Also love his blog design. It is unique.)
I am not into football or country music. Well maybe some of it. How can they play ball with this cold weather, He is a hot looking guy.
ReplyDeleteI hope NY beats Pittsburg anyway.

Yvonne:They didn't. The Jets lost. Oh well, there's always next year. They had a good season anyway.
