Milena has created a beautiful blog, ARTIFEX ALMANACH, which I'd like to share with you. I was especially taken with this post, the second in a series Milena has written about the post-WWII activity of the French couture houses and their workers - the unexpected re-birth of the houses that survived the war. A beautiful miniature traveling exhibition, a reminder that art survives no matter what. I hope you'll take a look at Milena's blog and her expertly written and very well-researched post. She is lucky enough to have seen all this in person, but we can view the photos and marvel at the creativity involved. It's an amazing story.
