The inimitable, the wonderful, the sexy, the incredible Clark Gable was born today in Ohio in 1901. Here's the equally wonderful Judy Garland singing her devotion, mirroring our devotion.
Originally she'd wanted to sing the song to Robert Donat, but the film makers wanted Gable. Oh well, fame is fickle and so is devotion. (She adored Donat. So do I.) But there's room in my heart for Gable and there always will be. He was unique.
