Say it isn't so....!

The end of the world is here, my friends. I'll be the one lost in the crowd saying, "I don't get it."

  1. I'll join you there. I don't get it. At all. This is wrong on so many levels.

  2. Vince Vaughn should be in this instead! Then the movie would be sure to tank. This strange fad all started with Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and got way out of hand over a two year period. Maybe it was three years. There's another book about Queen Victoria and the Royal Family as a band of vampire hunters. And a spoof of "The Metamorphosis" in which Gregor Samsa wakes up to find he is a kitten instead of a cockroach called The Meowmorphosis. I have to confess to laughing when I saw that one in stores.

  3. You and me, Picky. Ha! What's next, George Washington, Zombie Killer? Jeez.

  4. It's the Jane Austen guy who started it all. I blame him! John, what on earth is the world coming to?

Wait, don't tell me. I'd rather be surprised. Ha!

  5. Ugh...I swear a part of me died when I saw the travesty that is Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters at bookstores! Jane Austen is one of my favourite authors. I love Pride and Prejudice! How could someone even say 'zombies' and 'monsters' together with these Austen classics?

  6. Willow, I'm just surprised they haven't come with Will Shakespeare, Vampire Killer.

Jane Austen's reputation is safe but I agree that this sort of thing is an unfunny travesty. (Is there such a thing as a funny travesty?)

  7. Sorry, but I enjoyed Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. It was the only way I could get through the story. Normally Jane Austen bored me to tears.

As far as this one goes, I never wanted to read the book so I doubt I'll be seeing the movie.

  8. I read a brief review that said the book (Abraham Lincoln, etc) was amateurish in tone. You think?

Too bad about Jane Austen and you, Ryan. This just proves you're not perfect. Ha!

  9. Definitely in the vein of that P&P and Zombies. I just don't get the need to anachronism in this form.

Now we can never be friends. ;-)

  11. I'm with you, Iba. What's the point of it all?

  12. That's proof positive! I'm definitely living in The Twilight Zone. Rod Serling has resurfaced.

There are just some things I can't figure out and that's it.
