Thanks to the Paris Journal Blog (check them out for great Christmas Gifts as well) for posting about this fabulous Christmas Pet Adoption Drive at Macy's in New York. What a splendid idea! But I caution anyone to keep from giving a pet as a 'surprise' present. I'm sure the ASPCA reps present at Macy's would say the same thing. All my dogs (and in the past, cats) have come from 'adoption' circumstances. It's the best feeling I know, giving an abandoned animal a 'forever' home.
