Vintage Ireland Travel Posters for St. Patrick's Day!

I love vintage travel posters. They're so graphic and bold and generally beautifully designed. Most often there's nothing subtle about them. I like that.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

  1. I love vintage travel posters, too. These are great, though I don't for a minute believe that beach scene. Where are the rocks? Where are the cable knit sweaters? That's what I call pure blarney.

  2. Blarney is right!

Well, she IS wearing socks and shoes. ;) I love the colors though. I think these were silk screen posters which is a process I love.

  3. Yvette, you are classic! Now, even intravel posters.

Although I am not a van of these, you found some lovely ones. The pastels are just right.

And from my Irish side of the family, Happy St. Patrick's Day to all.

  4. Oy, the typos. Meant to say "fan," not "van."

  5. Kathy: Don't worry, I figured it out. Ha! And Happy St. Patrick's Day back at you and your family, kiddo. A day late, BUT - better late than never. :)

  6. I meant to say I'm not normally a fan of travel posters, but I do like these. In fact, I am imaging a few of them on my front door facing outside, so I could be greeted by the Emerald Isle as I return home.

Can these be purchased anyway? Would look great in my hallway (the building's)

  7. Kathy: You should search online to see where you can buy copies. Not sure if you can find exactly these, but you might. Anything's possible online. :)
