Christmas Book Loot!

I apologize in advance: No Monday Review today, I'm in a Christmas cookie daze. Ha! But I'm recovered enough to list the books I received from Santa on Christmas morning:
  • A BUTTERFLY IN FLAME by Nicholas Kilmer - a Fred Taylor art mystery.
  • A DOG ABOUT TOWN by J.F. Englert
  • HOWARD'S END IS ON THE LANDING by Susan Hill
  • KRAKEN by China Mieville
Yippee!!

I'm already halfway through A BUTTERFLY IN FLAME, so that review will be coming up sometime this week. Hint: I'm liking it.

My Christmas Loot post is still waiting....Have a final Christmas extravaganza with my parents tomorrow and am hoping for at least one or two more books. (Shoot, I'm always hoping for at least one or two more books.)

  4. Mystica: That particular book was highly recommended by Peter over at DETECTIVES WITHOUT BORDERS blog, a good place to go to talk mysteries and thrillers. I'll be over at your blog shortly. ;)

  8. Looking forward to your review of Howards End. It's the same Susan Hill who wrote the Woman in Black I presume?
