Meant to mention that this week is officially Mystery Week in NYC, culminating tonight with the 65th Annual Edgar Awards Banquet. Read more at this link. I'm rooting for Steve Hamilton's book, THE LOCK ARTIST to win Best Novel. Link to the rest of the nominees.

Happy Birthday Edgar Allan Poe / Edgar Awards Nominations
On the birthday of poet and gloomy mystery great, Edgar Allan Poe, the Awards group named in his honor released the annual nominations of their top mystery choices. See the nominations at the Edgars website.
As usual, I've only heard of a couple of these authors and I've only read one of the books. But I am thrilled for Steve Hamilton's nomination for the one book I did read, THE LOCK ARTIST. Congratulations, Steve!
