Quote/Unquote

"A wonderful fact to reflect upon, that every human creature is constituted to be that profound secret and mystery to every other."

Charles Dickens
A favorite quote of mine and thanks to Marylinn Kelly  for jiggling my memory.

  1. It's nice to see a black and white image of your granddaughter — I've always thought B&W made for a classier portrait. She's a cutie!

And I like that quotation. We go through life trying to mind-read, but we can never really know. It's all we can do to know ourselves!

  2. Oh, did you take advantage of your grand-daughter's beauty, charm and cuteness to feature here up there?

Very nice, and so is the quote.

  3. I do, very much, agree with you Mark. 'Knowing thyself' is not easy in the slightest.

My daughter like to convert some of her photos to black and white. She does a great job. I think my granddaughter is probably the most photographed baby in the world. Ha.

    You'd think she was royalty.
Well, to us she is. :)

  5. Your baby is beautiful.
Love the quote. My Daughter is 54 and still a mystery. Only kidding.
    Have a nice Easter.

  7. Thanks, Yvonne. Yup, I'll bet she is. Mine is too. That's the way of humans. It can't be helped. :)
