I do like these vintage Holiday ads because of the happy charm of the artwork. Check out the Edsel. And doesn't the Seven Up party scene remind you a bit of Mad Men (only happy)?
Love these. I suppose we're more forgiving of commercialism when it seems to depict a more innocent, long ago time. I think we'd all like to go to the Seven Up party. And I for one would like a new Chase Plush Motor Car Robe for Christmas. My Duesenberg gets chilly.
