There is no irrelevant trivia when it comes to books. :)Yvettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08919246184376538331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3185294584889963228.post-71446615122237070462013-10-19T14:34:30.226-04:002013-10-19T14:34:30.226-04:00I wasn't aware of a second series by Ames, Yve...I wasn't aware of a second series by Ames, Yvette. More for the TBR pile, I guess. Sigh. Anyway, according to the GAD Wiki, Ames wrote a dozen Dagobert and Jane mysteries - then, in 1960, switched over to the Juan Llorca novels. There are four of them, and - counting the "tri" in "tricorn" - all the Llorca titles have a "three" in them! How's THAT for irrelevant trivia? ;-)LesBlatthttp://www.classicmysteries.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3185294584889963228.post-15249173891503601692013-10-19T12:50:25.220-04:002013-10-19T12:50:25.220-04:00This is my favorite time of year, Yvonne. I've always had dogs - well, at least for the last twenty years. I've always adopted older dogs so they break my heart at some point, but I go on. Not much heart left though. :)Yvettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08919246184376538331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3185294584889963228.post-9937899620140146412013-10-19T12:48:33.755-04:002013-10-19T12:48:33.755-04:00You're welcome, Prashant. I like the way they wrote back then. Delano Ames is new to me as well. But a first-person narrative and a droll sense of humour? Yes, I like those too. Thanks, Yvette!Prashant C.
