And it was just so good that I want to read more of him. This book sounds promising too. Unfortunately, right now I don't intend starting any series so will put this on hold. Thanks for the review.neerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01986509319841061021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3185294584889963228.post-42822551032481123022017-12-16T10:56:08.720-05:002017-12-16T10:56:08.720-05:00Mudpuddle: Prather passed away in 2007. Just about all of his books are currently available as e-books.Jerry Househttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09482856733981933159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3185294584889963228.post-44356067716472285222017-12-15T15:24:28.209-05:002017-12-15T15:24:28.209-05:00Thanks, Tracy. On the whole I think mine was best. But either/or I enjoyed it. Not anything I had ever tried before. Same goes for the books. In this book, I LOVED the funeral scene, I just laughed so hard - love when that happens.Yvettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08919246184376538331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3185294584889963228.post-6358068216339254922017-12-15T15:22:01.692-05:002017-12-15T15:22:01.692-05:00Thanks, Evan. I'm eager to read more. This one was available as an e-book for 99 cents. I'd rather have the paperback, but I couldn't resist the e-book price. :)Yvettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08919246184376538331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3185294584889963228.post-58093346413400451262017-12-15T15:18:32.446-05:002017-12-15T15:18:32.446-05:00And that's a very good thing. :) Actually I wa...And that's a very good thing. :) Actually I was surprised by just how much I enjoyed this book - not quite what I expected. My favorite is the 2nd one -- SHOTGUN SATURDAY NIGHT -- but I do enjoy them all. I love his references to Dr. Pepper, since that has always been my favorite (and my son's) and in the book I just read he makes pimiento cheese sandwiches, which I also love.TracyKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08303342674824383688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3185294584889963228.post-89665911298592329602017-12-15T14:48:16.194-05:002017-12-15T14:48:16.194-05:00Nice piece, Yvette.
