I have another series for you to check out: The Bill Slider books by Cynthia Harrod Eagles. Terrific police procedurals set in London.<br />These HAVE to be read in order, though. The first one is: ORCHESTRATED DEATH. This is one of my very favorite series.Yvettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08919246184376538331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3185294584889963228.post-9489370743244710692010-11-04T12:18:47.013-04:002010-11-04T12:18:47.013-04:00I do love police procedurals, and I find the best ...I do love police procedurals, and I find the best ones really show the slowness of the process; that solving a case can be dull and repetitive. So often the police have to go back over files, or go back and talk to all the neighbors again. I will look into Maitland, and hope to get the first in the series. I also find that police procedurals allow me to read content I wouldn't be able to take in a straight fiction book. The reader goes along with the detectives as they face horrific stuff.Nanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15547916206007733970noreply@blogger.com
